Lyrics for The Last To Know
Don't make a fool of me behind my back Don't go to him for all the love you lack If I'm a fool to you baby Then why do you stay here? The excitement you felt could be repeated And so will the pain of being cheated Why are you telling everybody That you've got something to tell me? Stuck in a scrapbook we're keeping things Cuttings as yellow as wedding rings Why are we so sentimental When life can be so brutal? You went to him and then came back to me I went to her and set me thinking Who needs any artifice When the world is full of natural bliss? Now I know that I'll be the last to know I'll be the last to know I'll be the last to know I'll be the last to know No more tears and no more lies The lies I told myself Pain sometimes life hurts But this is just a bruise And who knows where they go? I don't know But I'll be the last to know I'll be the last To know I'll be the last to know I'll be the Last to know
