Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final album to feature lead singer Natalie Merchant, the alternative-pop group concludes their initial run with their most polished and commercially successful work. The sweeping, autumnal arrangements heavily feature horn sections and piano, beautifully supporting Merchant's earnest, socially conscious, and deeply poetic lyricism.
