Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as their debut studio album, 'And Everything Was Beautiful' represents the raw creative beginnings of Pittsburgh-based metalcore outfit 156/Silence. The self-produced record showcases a dense, moody collision of mathcore technicality and atmospheric sludge metal, utilizing long post-rock-inspired instrumentals. The emotional compositions pair clean, melancholic vocal passages with visceral screaming, reflecting deep themes of anxiety and introspective depression.
