Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing to solidify the deeply distinctive, heavy-hitting sound of Rap-A-Lot Records, the 5th Ward Boyz deliver an incredibly gritty dose of Houston gangsta rap on 'Rated G'. The album perfectly merges deeply sinister, G-funk synthesizer whines directly with aggressive, uncompromisingly violent street narratives. It remains a highly respected, deeply authentic pillar of the rapidly expanding mid-90s Southern hip-hop scene.
