Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reassessing his core values and focusing on his growth as a father, 'Love Is the New Gangsta' represents the soulful fourth studio album from Atlanta singer-songwriter 6LACK. Created through therapeutic jam sessions with child producer Childish Major, the record delivers an elegantly produced hybrid of alternative R&B and trap soul. It features floaty guest collaborations with 2 Chainz and Young Thug, mapping a deeply honest, self-aware path toward healing, emotional vulnerability, and long-term dedication to family.
