The New York-based instrumental duo of Che Chen and Rick Brown utilizes electric guitar and a heavily amplified plywood crate to create deep, entrancing desert blues. Greatly inspired by Mauritanian folk and avant-garde minimalism, the extended improvisational grooves slowly build into euphoric, trance-inducing psychedelia. It stands as a remarkably joyous, rhythmically infectious triumph of DIY musicianship.
