Album Notes & Community Reviews
This debut from the influential Memphis duo is widely considered a foundational pillar of Southern hip hop. Establishing a distinct regional identity away from the East and West coasts, the record combines heavy, soul-sampling Memphis production with dark, unapologetically explicit narratives of pimping and street hustle.
