Album Notes & Community Reviews
Planned and compiled by Lloyd, this panorama of industrial folk song was performed by Anne Briggs, Bob Davenport, Ray Fisher, Louis Killen, Lloyd himself, Matt McGinn and the Celebrated Working Man's Band. Recorded in a single November session the previous year, the album sold strongly enough to rescue its label's finances.
