Album Notes & Community Reviews

Darren Cunningham's debut album as Actress introduced his singular vision of deconstructed, lo-fi electronic music. 'Hazyville' sounds as its title suggests: a collection of murky, atmospheric tracks that feel submerged and distorted, pulling from techno, house, and dubstep influences. The album established his reputation for creating challenging, evocative sound worlds that feel both urban and deeply alien.
