Adam and the Ants followed their breakthrough with a more theatrical and image-driven album built around costume, rhythm, and pop spectacle. 'Prince Charming' reinforced Adam Ant's role in the New Romantic-era visual pop landscape while retaining the band's distinctive percussion-led arrangements.
