Burials

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written during a period of immense personal turbulence for frontman Davey Havok, the band's ninth studio album is heavily steeped in themes of betrayal and dark romanticism. Produced by Gil Norton, the record completely abandons the buoyant pop-punk energy of their mid-career in favor of dense, brooding synthesizers and sprawling, cinematic alternative rock.
