Victim in Pain

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Clocking in at under sixteen minutes, 'Victim in Pain' is a cornerstone of the New York Hardcore movement, defining the scene's uncompromising speed and urban grit. Roger Miret's raw vocal delivery pairs with relentlessly fast, crossover-leaning guitar riffs to create a sense of claustrophobic aggression. The record laid the foundational blueprint for NYHC, shifting away from the more melodic punk traditions of the previous decade.
