Aguirre / Hongo

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This split release pairs the Galician ensemble with the French project 'Aguirre', highlighting a shared interest in the darker and more aggressive boundaries of the crust subgenre. The recordings emphasize high-velocity rhythmic drives and visceral vocal performances characteristic of the mid-2000s European underground. It functions as a stylistic summary of the project's ability to maintain high-intensity energy and structural variety within a dense sonic frame.
