The Dreaming I

Originally conceived as a dark ambient side-project by Naas Alcameth of Nightbringer, this release unexpectedly morphed into a towering work of terrifying atmospheric black metal. The concept explores parasomnia and night terrors, perfectly mirrored by the suffocating, dense walls of tremolo picking and chaotic synthesizers. It is widely hailed as one of the most frightening and meticulously crafted extreme metal albums of the decade.
