Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting with legendary Hi Records producer Willie Mitchell for the first time since 1985, the iconic vocalist triumphantly returns to the classic, secular Southern soul sound that defined his career. The lush string arrangements and warm, Memphis-style horn sections provide a timeless, deeply romantic backdrop for Green's still-impeccable falsetto. It stands as an incredibly joyous and authentic late-career masterpiece.
