Album Notes & Community Reviews
The second studio album by Alabama 3, 'La Peste' takes its title from Albert Camus' 1947 novel and frames drugs and social injustice as modern plagues. Produced by John 'Segs' Jennings and Steve 'Dub' Jones and recorded across five London studios in 1999, it fuses trip hop, acid house and blues rock, including a ragga reworking of the Eagles' 'Hotel California'.
