Album Notes & Community Reviews

Delivering her material with an incredibly delicate, vibrato-less purity, the vocalist represents the crucial missing link between the dramatic styling of traditional samba and the cool detachment of bossa nova. The gentle, acoustic-driven arrangements perfectly frame her hushed, melancholic phrasing, establishing her as a foundational voice in modern Brazilian music.
