Documenting portions of a highly polarizing European tour, this live release features Ayler pushing his concept of "spiritual unity" to its absolute breaking point. Utilizing a quintet that includes his brother Donald Ayler and violinist Michel Samson, the group violently deconstructs traditional marching band melodies into screaming, ecstatic free-jazz exorcisms.
