Album Notes & Community Reviews

His official solo debut following a collaboration with Geraldo Azevedo, Alceu Valen莽a completely redefined Northeastern Brazilian music by electrifying traditional forr贸 and frevo rhythms. The wildly poetic lyricism and manic, psychedelic acoustic playing cemented his role as a leading figure in the 'Udigrudi' counterculture.
