Album Notes & Community Reviews
Prompted by the discovery of his grandfather's vintage super-8 home movies, the Nine Inch Nails keyboardist constructs a deeply nostalgic, emotionally devastating ambient album. Performed entirely on a single EMS Synthi AKS synthesizer, the record relies on melancholic, degraded analog melodies that beautifully capture the hazy nature of childhood memory.
