Album Notes & Community Reviews
On his fifth studio album, 'Late to Set', Australian singer-songwriter Alex Cameron delivers a set of character-driven narratives tinged with melancholic introspection. The self-released record leans into brooding pop rock and minimal synth arrangements, contrasting the warmth of his earlier work with a sleeker, more anxious atmosphere. Navigating themes of toxic masculinity, fading romance, and modern consumerism, the project highlights Cameron's trademark balance of satirical irony and earnest vulnerability.
