Album Notes & Community Reviews

A monolithic recording capturing the sarod master delivering an entirely unedited, deeply immersive single raga performance. By stretching the deeply meditative "alap" section out to an unprecedented length before resolving into complex rhythmic cycles, it is heralded as an unparalleled masterclass in sustained improvisational tension.
