Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released strictly on cassette for her ashram followers, Alice Coltrane鈥檚 'Turiya Sings' completely steps away from avant-garde jazz into deeply transcendent, synthesized spiritual music. Hearing her sing for the first time over sweeping string arrangements and pulsing organs, the album is a profoundly meditative, highly ethereal, and incredibly peaceful religious masterpiece.
