Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by the acclaimed Dave Cobb, 'Sleeping Through The War' finds the Nashville quartet honing their fuzzed-out, blues-laden psychedelic rock into more concise and structured songs. The album moves away from the extended jams of their earlier work, favoring tightly-wound grooves and a heavier, more immediate impact. Lyrically, the record reflects on a sense of social and political disconnection, channeling contemporary anxieties through their signature heavy sound.
