Album Notes & Community Reviews

Surprisingly pairing the legendary New Orleans songwriter with outside producer Jerry Wexler, this album steers Toussaint toward a remarkably polished, cosmopolitan sound. 'Motion' wraps his signature syncopated piano rhythms in a glossy sheen of smooth soul, subtle disco grooves, and California studio perfection.
