Album Notes & Community Reviews

Widely regarded as one of the most ferocious albums of the jazz fusion era, 'Mind Transplant' finds former Weather Report drummer Alphonse Mouzon operating at peak intensity. Heavily defined by the blistering, overdrive-soaked guitar contributions of Tommy Bolin, the record matches the relentless power of the Mahavishnu Orchestra with tight, funk-inflected grooves.
