Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Amsterdam-based ensemble continues their vibrant, highly infectious mission of reviving 1970s Turkish psychedelic folk-rock. The record masterfully blends traditional Turkish string instruments with analog synthesizers, funky basslines, and driving dance rhythms to reimagine centuries-old folk standards. It earned the group widespread international acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best World Music Album.
