Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released on the iconic SST Records, this entirely instrumental ensemble delivered a frantic, highly complex fusion of punk energy and jazz-rock virtuosity. The Richmond, Virginia quartet engaged in wildly chaotic, progressive time signatures completely devoid of traditional pop structure. The confrontational, noisy musicianship remains a fascinating example of the era's underground musical cross-pollination.
