Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Amsterdam-based ensemble's debut full-length brilliantly modernizes classic 1970s Turkish psychedelic rock and Anatolian folk standards. Fusing driving funk basslines and analog synthesizers with traditional ba臒lama, the incredibly danceable project helped ignite a massive global resurgence of interest in the genre. It firmly established the band as one of the premier global psych-rock acts.
