Carsten Nicolai, a central figure in the glitch and micromontage movements, utilized pure sine waves and digital errors to sculpt sterile, microscopic rhythmic environments. 'Transform' is intensely clinical and cold, forcing the listener to find the hypnotic, underlying groove within the abstract mechanical noise.
