Album Notes & Community Reviews

Taking a brief hiatus from the high-speed boogie of Ten Years After, guitar virtuoso Alvin Lee teamed up with American gospel-rock pioneer Mylon LeFevre for this remarkably relaxed, deeply rootsy collaboration. Backed by a staggering roster of guest musicians including George Harrison, Steve Winwood, and Mick Fleetwood, the record leans heavily into laid-back country-rock and soulful, acoustic-driven ballads. It serves as a fascinating, highly melodic stylistic departure for the famed British guitar hero.
