Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Anthony Monn in Munich, this conceptual disco album revolves around a Faustian narrative of trading one's soul for fame. 'Sweet Revenge' propelled Lear to massive European stardom, heavily relying on her distinctive, deep sprechgesang delivery and lush, synthesized Euro-disco orchestration.
