Album Notes & Community Reviews

Acting as a foundational pillar for the burgeoning slowcore movement, Mark Eitzel's band delivered a breathtakingly depressed and sparse examination of heartbreak. The skeletal folk-rock arrangements perfectly frame the agonizing vocal performances, resulting in an incredibly stark and emotionally resonant Americana masterpiece.
