Thier

Album Notes & Community Reviews

After five years of silence, the Austrian underground veterans deliver a phenomenally complex, incredibly dark masterclass in modern black metal. Comprised of only four lengthy tracks, 'Thier' intricately weaves terrifying blast beats and harsh shrieks with heavily atmospheric acoustic interludes and clean, choral vocal chants. The resulting album is a deeply occult, surprisingly progressive, and relentlessly heavy extreme metal triumph.
