Album Notes & Community Reviews

Departing from the sparse arrangements of previous work, 'Born Against' features lush orchestration including brass, strings, and choral backing. Danny Kiranos utilizes diverse vocal styles ranging from operatic swells to hushed whispers, narrating tales of existential dread and human fallibility. The recording emphasizes a theatrical, cinematic approach to the 'murder folk' subgenre.
