Biography
Amigo the Devil is the stage name of Danny Kiranos, an American singer-songwriter born in Miami, Florida, whose 'murderfolk' songs pair acoustic guitar and banjo with narratives of killers, arsonists and the lovelorn. A former chef and brewer, he built a following through relentless solo touring from his first EP 'Manimals' (2010) onward, releasing the studio albums 'Everything Is Fine' (2018) and 'Born Against' (2021) and founding the label Liars Club Records. His intense, darkly funny live shows have made him a cult favourite across folk, country and metal audiences alike.
