Album Notes & Community Reviews

Charging out of the Swedish underground, the quintet's debut album firmly established their signature synthesis of galloping death metal and sweeping Norse mythology. The relentless, heavily distorted riffing and Johan Hegg's commanding guttural vocals set the foundational template for their ensuing, highly successful Viking metal dominion.
