Album Notes & Community Reviews

Capitalizing on the momentum of their early releases, the Swedish melodic death metal outfit continued to refine their heavily mythological, Viking-themed aesthetic. While utilizing aggressive blast beats, the record noticeably shifts toward a slower, more groove-oriented heaviness that defined their later, massive commercial success.
