Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating under strict anonymity, the Dutch trio continued to refine their unique juxtaposition of despair and melodic beauty on their third full-length. The recording heavily integrates prominent, shimmering synthesizer lines and post-rock textures into a harsh depressive suicidal black metal framework. The resulting contrast creates a profound sense of catharsis that helped define the burgeoning blackgaze movement of the decade.
