Album Notes & Community Reviews
The acclaimed Chilean MC delivers a profoundly political, incredibly rhythmic masterpiece that heavily incorporates traditional Andean folk instrumentation. 'Vengo' brilliantly fuses classic boom-bap hip-hop production with the sounds of charangos and pan flutes, providing a rich, cultural backdrop for her fiercely anti-colonial, feminist lyricism. It serves as a fiercely rebellious, undeniably energetic, and remarkably conscious triumph of Latin American hip-hop.
