Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anticipating the impending easy listening boom, the prominent conductor leads his orchestra through a series of lush, heavily romanticized interpretations of global themes. The sweeping string arrangements smooth out any regional rhythmic complexities in favor of a soothing, cinematic atmosphere. It represents a formative step in the creation of conceptual, mood-based instrumental pop.
