Album Notes & Community Reviews
Comprised entirely of French chanson covers spanning artists like Jacques Brel and Georges Brassens, this release marked a significant departure for the veteran progressive rock group. Trading their signature theatrical, symphonic grandiosity for straightforward pop-rock arrangements, the album reflects the band's struggle to find a definitive sonic identity in the early 1980s. It stands as a curious, largely unheralded anomaly in their extensive catalog.
