Biography

France's defining progressive rock band, Ange was formed in 1969 by brothers Christian and Francis Décamps and sang theatrical, medieval-tinged symphonic rock in French. The 1970s albums 'Caricatures', 'Au-delà du délire' and 'Émile Jacotey' made them national leaders on the French rock scene. Christian Décamps revived the band in 1999 with his son Tristan, and Ange remains active, with new studio music still arriving.
