Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded shortly after the artist publicly came out as queer and experienced the consecutive deaths of both her parents, the album leans heavily into traditional country and Americana stylings. Produced alongside Jonathan Wilson, it replaces the synth-heavy dramatics of her previous release with pedal steel guitars and sweeping, cinematic balladry.
