Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fiercely working-class and uncompromisingly political, Angelic Upstarts firmly established themselves as leaders of the Oi! movement with their second album. The record delivers anthemic, fist-pumping punk rock driven by Mensi's aggressive, socially conscious lyricism, protesting police brutality and government apathy. It remains a definitive document of the raw anger fueling early 1980s British street punk.
