Album Notes & Community Reviews

A massive commercial success across Europe, this record elegantly adapts ancient fables and Jewish Passover songs into a lush, acoustic pop-folk context. The Italian singer-songwriter heavily utilized classical strings, acoustic guitar, and intricate, neo-medieval arrangements to create a timeless, pastoral atmosphere. The title track, with its infectious, cumulative lyrical structure, became a lasting staple of Italian popular music.
