Album Notes & Community Reviews
Operating fiercely independent of the major label system, the Buffalo-born songwriter delivered her third album of radically percussive, acoustic-driven folk music. 'Imperfectly' highlights her virtuosic, aggressive fingerpicking style and unapologetically feminist, politically charged lyricism. The grassroots success of the record solidified her fiercely loyal fanbase and validated her uncompromising DIY ethos.
