Biography
Ani DiFranco is a Buffalo singer-songwriter who co-founded #Righteous Babe Records# in 1990 and built a major career entirely outside the major-label system. Albums such as 'Not a Pretty Girl', 'Dilate' and 'Little Plastic Castle' pair percussive folk-punk guitar with candid, political songwriting, and her label remains a landmark of artist independence. She has released more than twenty studio albums, all of them independently.
