Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning to a four-piece lineup, Animal Collective crafted 'Centipede Hz' as a dense, frantic collage of alien radio signals and live instrumentation. The album is a maximalist explosion of sound, featuring aggressive percussion, cluttered samples, and communal vocals. It is a challenging and chaotic listen that reflects the information overload of modern life.
