Album Notes & Community Reviews

British-Trinidadian poet and musician Anthony Joseph delivers a searing, politically charged spoken-word jazz record that critiques historical colonialism and modern capitalist structures. The album pairs his commanding, prophetic vocal delivery with fiery, rhythmically complex avant-garde jazz arrangements helmed by Jason Yarde. It operates as a potent, conscious manifesto rooted deeply in the Caribbean diaspora's intellectual legacy.
